The one consistent trait that every successful program to improve education and school culture shares is their commitment to building and maintaining healthy relationships.
The two critical pieces for healthy change in our schools is first of all, the fact that change must begin with you, the staff. Secondly, there must be intentional and consistent building and maintaining of healthy relationships among the staff, between staff and students, among the students and between the school and the greater community.
CRC Consulting Services creates emotionally safe spaces for people to learn how to communicate effectively, to resolve conflict in a healthy manner, to identify the sources of conflict so they can work toward change, and how to build relationships that will aid the growth, vitality and success of the individual and the community.
We are not able to fix the visible problems without going after the roots, otherwise it will simply grow back. To heal a systemic problem requires a change in the very culture of the school and to achieve this, on-going support of various kinds is needed.
